INK1197

IND Submission Anticipated in 2010

INK1197 is an orally-available, small molecule dual PI3Kδ/γ-selective inhibitor in development for patients with immune-mediated inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and asthma.

PI3Kδ and PI3Kγ are strongly implicated in immune-mediated inflammatory and allergic disorders. Restricted primarily to cells of the immune systems, these two PI3K isoforms regulate diverse cellular functions of the immune system, including B cells, T cells, dendritic cells, mast cells and neutrophils.

INK1197 has demonstrated efficacy in a diverse set of preclinical models of rheumatoid arthritis, allergy and inflammation. In addition, the compound has demonstrated a favorable preclinical safety profile as well as good activity when in used in combination with other agents.

INK1197 is currently being prepared for human clinical trials.
